For 2 weeks, the dance company Black Label Movement and Xelias partnered to do a 2-week intensive skill-sharing session. Coach Jim Domenick spent the morning with the dance troupe, and then they all came by Xelias to get basic aerial instruction and do other acrobatic work (quartette adagio, basket tosses, acrobalance, and even stunt falls) in preparation for a future endeavor. Jim was delighted to coach such an enthusiastic and physically outstanding group of people. He may even show up in one of their dances this summer. These weeks definitely left everyone a little sore and achy but with HUGE smiles on their faces. More to come in the future. Keep your ear to the ground!
